BLACK DRAGON Forums' 1st poll...not sure if I did it right, but I wanted to do this as a result of a bunch of matches in MKA on PSN lately, where win OR lose, the other player "runs away" after just 1 or 2 matches and says "I OWNED YOU".....lololol. We all understand that it can takes several series for just 2 players alone to get used to each others' gameplay enough to BE at their fullest potential, however we never established something concrete. We normally play to at least 10, and sometimes after 10 losses, I have REPEATEDLY been known to come back with 10+ wins of my own to even up the score. Then again there have also been those days when you start out 5-0 versus Eazytobeat, and finish the series 5-15 -_-
This poll is for YOU, as the people to decide....is brutally flaming people who leave before 10 or even 5 neccessary to keep vital competition formed properly or are we as a Clan AND a Website more impartial to it, lest it be mentioned prior to starting? You may...Begin.

Maybe you should rephrase the poll question...something like, how many wins in a series to judge players skill level? I generally look down upon anyone who leaves after 2 games and says they "own" you...I'd say about 2-3 matches alone is required for both opponents to properly adapt to each other. I voted around 30 matches because I like somewhat long series as they give a more accurate conclusion when it comes to other players skill levels.

I typically like to play first to 7 or 10 for a couple reasons.
1) my attention span isn't that long, and i start to lose interest. and in turn start playing worse.
2) i have my wife and kids constantly wanting my attention, so i can never stay in 1 series long enough anyways.

I voted for 30 games. I dont really play random people online, I mostly play people I already know. So I generally like to play people who like to play a decent amount of games. Like Black and I usually play like 20-30 games on MKD which is cool cuz I get to see and learn more than I would if it was say only 3 games. I dont get bent out of shape though if someone leaves after 10, I know this pretty much considered the standard series.

It's hard to say. Someone could be having an off day and really suck and other days they might be getting lucky. If I play someone and they know how to do every move, I consider them to be good players. If someone just uppercuts to win, they're shit.
