I don't have the patience atm to see if theres another GG's thread for this but I know this is the proper category, anyways im doing this during AREZ smoke break so here goes:
GG's so far AREZ, and Capcom Online Channel or w/e the fuck his name was (random server player on arcade arena).
Capcom had a very nice ken and a decent guile, but was no match for AREZ Bison. But still he bested both of us with ken quite a few times and it took quite a bit of pressure to finally break him down. But it was done, nonetheless.

Yup yup...GGS Wizard and to Capcom Online Gaming Channel. I have actually played him quite a bit and while he's a good player, he's incredibly frustrating to play against at times, if nothing else, cuz his mains are the best characters the game (which is labelled as "broken" to some). Word of advice, use someone w/ an SRK against his Vega cuz Wall Dive eats just about every other anti-air in the game. Also, big thing to watch out for is his throw-loop 'infinite' w/ Balrog - although it's not a true infinite, it is EXTREMELY difficult too escape and on some connections maybe impossible.
I was impressed mostly w/ you Ryu, you seem to really know what ur doing w/ him and the combos and mix-up game were excellent tactics. Only problem w/ online Shotos is 2 things: they become safer online due to lag-recovery and delay, especially in Hurricane and Dragon Punches, and also when playing a Shoto w/ even the slightest delay on your end, things that would normally get aa'd by an SRK will hit you before the inputs for your SRK register....so beware. Sagat might be a little more useful in delay cuz u can substitute his TU w/ s.HK and it has great reach and little recovery time.

With Ryu the main combo I use is J+MK or HK, then Crouch LK,LP,MK cancel into either hadoken or hurricane kick. I try throwing crouch LP cancels to shoryuken in every once in awhile as well. I think my Fei Long is halfway decent atm and will be even better once (if) I can manage to do chicken wings more consistently..and I had to take out Honda just to prove a point after you explained Honda is a scrub broken character and any newb can win with him etc...I know just about everything with Fei Long and if I get the chicken wings more consistently he'll be even more solid. I just need to stay on point with my zoning and stopping rekka if its blocked so I'm not open to counterattack. Anyways soon I'm probably going to practice more offline with Fei and maybe add some more characters to my roster since I only use like 2-3 characters, would be nice to mix it up a bit.

For Shotos, j.LK, s.LP, LP-SRK is quick and easy and j.LK has great aeriel priority. Another simple easy combo that takes quite a chunk of damage is j.HP, HP-SRK.....as a matter of fact, in WW and CE, connecting that combo twice was a win for 100% damage. I'm pretty sure it has been nerfed since then, but none-the-less, it is great to commit to muscle memory and keep in your arsenal.
