Yes, it's possible, but from what I understand not likely. Here's the scenario: I recieved a ticket for driving an unregistered vehicle on Feb. 4th and had 10 days to respond to it. I filled it out and it was supposed to go out this morning so it could be post-marked before Feb 14th. It didn't go out for SOME reason and the Courthouse/post office is closed tomorrow and Monday, so it will 12 days by the time I can hand-deliver my plea. The bitch at the Courthouse told me I have 10 days to respond or a warrant will be issued for my arrest and a Constable will pick me up.
I am a little disappointed, however being as I don't care about much of anything anymore at all, it's just another day in my life. Does anyone have any input of useful advice for me or have knowledge of the Law and this type of shit? I plan on taking care of it, just as I always intended to since I got it, I just get this funny feeling they are going to be douchebags about it and give me a hard time. Also, one of my neighbors is a Constable and I might go ask him some questions about it as well.
Please respond if you have any advice or feedback.

They never issue warrants that quick. The machine doesnt work that fast. They may try and charge you a penalty for being late. But they wont arrest you. They care about getting that money. Ive been late on TONS of tickets. They actually want you to be late so they can charge a penalty and make MORE money. Putting you in jail will cost them money, not make them money. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
